Enter our UN Day poster contest

October 24th is United Nations Day, marking the anniversary of the entry into force in 1945 of the UN Charter – the day the UN officially came into being. To celebrate UN Day in 2017, United Nations Geneva is holding a poster contest and exhibition and calling for submissions to be displayed at the October 7th Open Day at the Palais des Nations.

The contest theme is Transform and Open. Openness includes many aspects – accessibility, approachability, honesty, receptiveness, responsiveness. Transformation includes change, development, reform, innovation, modernization – all part of the United Nations’ work for the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

This work impacts every one of us every day in every part of the world, contributing to ending poverty, protecting the planet and ensuring that all people enjoy peace and prosperity. We invite inspired citizens to use their artistic talents to produce images and slogans around the theme of Transform and Open. We look forward to seeing your creativity!
